Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.</p><h3>WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:</h3><ul><li><b>Maintaining Positive Relationships</b>: Acting as the main point of contact to ensure strategic accounts are satisfied and their business needs are met.</li><li><b>Developing Business Strategies:</b>Creating strategies that benefit the company and its strategic accounts.</li><li><b>Targeting New Accounts:</b>Setting strategies for targeting and penetrating new accounts.</li><li><b>Handling Large Accounts:</b>Leading all aspects of and growing large, sophisticated accounts.</li><li><b>Collaborating Across Functions:</b>Working with cross-functional data solutions partners to drive growth.</li><li><b>Achieving Sales Quotas:</b>Being responsible for meeting sales quotas with strategic accounts.</li><li><b>Negotiating Contracts:</b>Developing and growing sales, negotiating contracts, and ensuring legal compliance.</li><li><b>Understanding Customer Needs:</b>Maintaining relationships to understand customer requirements and developing appropriate solutions.</li><li><b>Providing Forecasts:</b>Offering frequent updates to support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).</li><li><b>Identifying New Opportunities:</b>Work with sales and marketing teams to identify new product categories or markets and drive new business opportunities.</li><li><b>Recommending Product Mix:</b>Partnering with product management and marketing to recommend the appropriate product mix and sourcing strategies.</li><li><b>Generating Growth:</b>Selling data solutions with a targeted focus on integrator accounts.</li><li><b>Supporting Growth Accounts:</b>Supporting the business through the generation of new growth accounts while maintaining and developing existing ones.</li><li><b>Although we have this role posted in multiple locations, we are only making 1 hire***</b></li></ul><h3>YOU HAVE:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent data center sales/account management experience.</li><li>Ideally, 5+ years in account management or outside sales experience in data center sales; experience should include 2+ years leading strategic accounts.</li><li>Ability to sell power distribution, data center Infrastructure products, data center cooling (HDLC), and other electrical products into the data center space.</li><li>Knowledge of how a direct-to-customer sales environment operates.</li><li>Knowledge in program/project management preferred.</li><li>Skills in handling multiple tasks/projects, along with the ability to work in a self-directed manner.</li><li>Skills to effectively resolve quality and delivery concerns in a professional and timely manner.</li><li>Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.</li><li>Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office anywhere in
