<p style="margin:0.0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Join AMETEK Aerospace & Defense as a Sales Engineer supporting OEM customers through complex, technically driven engagements across the aerospace and defense markets. Covering the Arizona territory and operating from a home office, this role is ideally suited for a Sales Engineer or Field Applications Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, customer requirements, and solution development. Reporting at the division level, you will act as a technical interface for Tier 1 and sub‑tier OEMs across eight business units—supporting design‑in activities, translating customer specifications into viable solutions, coordinating cross‑functional engineering resources, providing on-site customer support and enabling long‑term platform adoption within critical A&D applications.</p><p style="margin:0.0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">This position reports to the Aerospace & Defense Regional Sales Manager.</p><h3>What You Will Do in the Role</h3><p style="margin:0.0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Customer Facing Interface: As the cornerstone of this role, you represent on a technical level the A&D organization:</p><ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"><li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Your foremost duty is to interface on a regular basis with key technical personnel among our key customers.</li><li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Assist with customer service, technical and sales functions.</li><li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Guide customers through technical requirements, craft specifications, and proposal management.</li></ul><p style="margin:0.0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Maximize Impact: You’ll be tasked with being the primary technical interface with our key customers within the territory:</p><ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"><li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Operating within the established aerospace and defense market including sectors like military and commercial aviation, ground vehicles, and space, you’ll navigate diverse customer requirements to capitalize on every opportunity.</li><li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Interface with all 8 business units within AMETEK Aerospace & Defense who manufacture a broad range of products for thermal management systems.</li><li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Roboto-Light">Cultivating profound connections with key strategic customers will be a priority, fostering enduring partnerships that drive sustained sales.</li></ul><h3>What You Will Bring to the Role</h3><ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"><li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:1
