POSITION SUMMARY The Research and Quality Assistant is responsible for supporting core research and quality activities, including chart abstraction; validation of clinical data from electronic health records (EHRs) and other medical records to support cardiovascular clinical research studies, quality improvement initiatives, outcomes research, registry participation, and performance measurement programs; preparation of literature reviews; development of research and quality improvement projects; and preparation of abstracts and manuscripts.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> Research Responsibilities include</p><ul><li> Abstract clinical data from electronic health records (EHRs), including imaging reports, physician documentation, laboratory results, procedure reports, and other clinical documentation for clinical research studies.</li><li>Abstract clinical endpoints and outcome measures according to protocol requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, project managers, and analysts to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and integrity.</li><li> Conduct source data verification and quality assurance reviews.</li><li> Perform data validation checks and participate in data quality and completeness audits.</li><li> Identify missing, inconsistent, or conflicting clinical information</li><li>Resolve discrepancies through comprehensi
