Join us and become part of a growing organization where your contributions make a meaningful impact.<br><br>We are looking for a qualified <strong>OSP</strong><strong>Permit Specialist I</strong> to support permitting operations for broadband infrastructure projects nationwide. This early-career, full-time remote position offers the opportunity to grow your expertise in utility permitting while contributing to impactful connectivity projects. <br>As part of the Engineering &amp; Permitting team, you will assist with permit preparation, regulatory compliance, and permit tracking. You will collaborate across departments and maintain communication with jurisdictional agencies to help ensure timely project delivery. </div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><div><ul><li>Prepare and submit permit applications, including DOT, pole attachments, ROW, and traffic control permits, in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations;</li><li>Research and interpret jurisdiction-specific policies and GIS data to support permit accuracy;</li><li>Initiate Joint Use Pole and ROW permit applications and support Pole Loading Analysis (PLA) and Make Ready Engineering (MRE) reviews;</li><li>Track permit statuses using Smartsheet, KMZ files, Excel, and permit management systems to monitor submissions, approvals, and expiration dates;</li><li>Coordinate with Engineering, Field, GIS, and Permitting teams to maintain project schedules;</li><li>Communicate proactively with permitting agencies to resolve issues and avoid delays;</li><li>Maintain clear communication channels using Teams, Outlook, and other collaboration tools.</li></ul><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3><div><ul><li>3+ years’ experience in utility or telecom permitting, permit coordination, or related roles;</li><li>Familiarity with NESC standards, municipal codes, joint-use agreements, and pole permit procedures;</li><li>Experience with PLA, MRE, and ROW or DOT permit submissions;</li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software;</li><li>Skilled in GIS applications, KMZ/Google Earth, Smartsheets, Microsoft Excel, and permit tracking tools;</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.</li></ul><div>Preferred Qualifications:</div><ul><li>Experience with tr
