The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments</p><p>This is a <strong>full-time</strong> role, on a <strong>US shift</strong> and on a <strong>Work at Home</strong> set-up.</p><p>If you have the right skill set, this may be your opportunity to enter this fast-growing organization.</p><h3>Duties and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.</li><li>Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.</li><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to executive management.</li><li>Conduct regular financial reviews to assess the company's financial health and make strategic recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to develop and manage the annual budget.</li><li>Provide financial forecasts and variance analysis to assist in decision making processes.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient and effective accounting procedures.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance financial operations.</li><li>Set up and manage bookkeeping functions to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field</li><li>At least 5 years of solid bookkeeping experience</li><li>Solid knowledge in setting up QuickBooks Desktop Version, QuickBooks Enterprise, and QuickBooks Premium Plus, and Excel</li><li>Strong mathematical skills</li><li>Detail-oriented</li></ul><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
