You’ll join a small, fast-moving team building high-impact products across accounting, tax, and banking. You’ll own features end-to-end and contribute across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and architecture.</p><hr><h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Build and scale <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/haven">Haven</a>’s core platform across tax, accounting, and banking</p></li><li><p>Take ownership of the full software lifecycle — scoping, building, testing, deploying</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with product and design to ship features that delight customers</p></li><li><p>Write scalable backend code and craft refined, performant frontends</p></li><li><p>Contribute to infrastructure, observability, and system reliability</p></li><li><p>Help shape our technical roadmap and engineering best practices</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Tech Stack</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>Cloud:</strong> GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL Postgres, Pub/Sub, Terraform)</p></li><li><p><strong>Languages:</strong> TypeScript, Python (typed), Rust</p></li><li><p><strong>Frameworks:</strong> React, Next.js, Slonik, Axum, SQLx, Django</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li><p>3+ years of experience as a fullstack or backend engineer</p></li><li><p>Experience with modern frameworks (React/Next.js, Django, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in at least one typed language (TypeScript, Rust, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Strong product intuition and ability to work cross-functionally</p></li><li><p>Experience with system design and building scalable services</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills;
