K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.</p><h3>Overview</h3><h3>This is a pro-bono position. </h3><p><a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/jerseystem">JerseySTEM</a> is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls.</p><p>This role will manage the <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/jerseystem">JerseySTEM</a> 14 week Externship program where Interns (undergraduate Students) shadow <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/jerseystem">JerseySTEM</a> technology leaders and particiapte in projects. The Externship program manager coordinates the recruitment of the interns, their onboarding and ensures they have a positive experience at <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/jerseystem">JerseySTEM</a>.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Interview with incoming interns</li><li>Help assigning them to projects by working with the host teams</li><li>Organize virtual learning and social event for the college students</li><li>Engage with the Students University Advisors</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Familiarity with early career members</li><li>Ability to work with little direction</li><li>Meticuously follow up with internal an external stakeholders</li></ul><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
