Closing date: 31 Aug 2026 We are currently recruiting a Resource Development Coordinator to join our Resource Development team. This is a remote open-ended position, open to candidates based in the UK, offering a salary of circa. £37k per annum (negotiable DOE). We work in countries across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, providing Health and Nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Education and Livelihoods programming that creates the foundation for community resilience. About the Opportunity As a key member of the Resource Development team, the Resource Development Coordinator will support Relief International’s global fundraising and programme growth efforts by identifying funding opportunities, strengthening donor relationships and coordinating the development of high-quality proposals. Working closely with country offices, programme teams, finance colleagues and external partners, this role plays a critical part in securing resources that enable impactful humanitarian and development programming. Your Responsibilities This role includes the following responsibilities. Identify funding opportunities, monitor donor trends and support strategic positioning with institutional, foundation and non-traditional donors. Coordinate and lead the development of high-quality, compliant proposals, concept notes and funding submissions in collaboration with country, programme and support teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, NGOs and other stakeholders to support business development and fundraising objectives. Provide technical support and capacity strengthening to country teams on programme design, proposal development and donor requirements. Support multiple country offices globally and undertake travel of up to 30%, including occasional travel to field locations at short notice. About You You will bring the following experience and skills. Demonstrated success securing funding from institutional and non-institutional donors and supporting complex proposal development processes, including consortium bids. Strong knowledge of European donor mechanisms, grant management requirements, proposal budgeting and donor compliance regulations. Proven experience managing the full proposal development cycle, from opportunity identification through to donor submission.
