Join <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/fortrea">Fortrea</a> and be part of something meaningful.</p><h3>ABOUT THIS JOB</h3><br><p>This is a full-time, permanent job. <b>Remote or hybrid</b> ideally based in <b>The UK</b> (in Leeds we have our brand new, world class, state-of-the-art 65,000 ft² clinic with 100 beds fully dedicated to CPS research).</p><br><p><b>Thrive in a Global Team:</b> This job requires some schedule flexibility to collaborate effectively with US colleagues during core overlap hours.</p><br><h3>WHAT YOU WILL DO</h3><p>You will act as a primary person in the <b>assessment and approval of budgets </b>for the UK and the US 4 x Clinical Research Units Services. Your will work on highly time sensitive client deliverable, as you will be the last team to approve budgets before they go to the client. You will:</p><br><ul><li>Help ensure pricing packages are approved and delivered to clients on time.</li></ul><ul><li>Check that budgets and financial calculations are accurate.</li></ul><ul><li>Review margins</li></ul><ul><li>Advising Sales and Client Managers on client pricing negotiations, discount guidance and authorizations.</li></ul><h3>You will also take a leading part:</h3><ul> <li>Building and maintaining internal costing models and tools,</li> <li>Developing commercial <b>data pricing analysis</b> for key insights into <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/fortrea">Fortrea</a>´s commercial engine. </li> </ul><p>You will also support commercial, sales, RFI responses and Clinical teams with all their <b>data analytics and reporting needs.</b></p><ul><li>Your analysis will help gather, interpret and analyse data to support client-facing requests (specially Requests for Information), using data from multiple systems.</li></ul><br><h3>YOU NEED TO BRING…</h3><br><h3>Education</h3><br><ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business or Life Sciences</li></ul><h3>Experience &amp; Skills</h3><br><ul><li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in the fields of <b>financial budgeting</b>, <b>pricing</b>, <b>margin</b> analysis, <b>proposals</b> or <b>contracts</b>.</li></ul><br><p>Previous experience in the clinical research sector is a plus (i.e. translating protocol procedures to costing models, building clinical budgets based on preliminary feasibility indications, etc.)</p><ul> <li>This job relies heavily on <b>Microsoft Excel </b>skills; proficiency is a must-have.
