This role suits a recent graduate who combines quantitative and economic thinking with real technical ability – the kind of person who can size a market in the morning, pull the numbers themselves in the afternoon, and spend the next day in the workshop or on-site getting hardware onto a machine. A meaningful part of this job is physical: moving machines, equipment, and hardware. You will do the work rather than coordinate it.<br /></p><h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own high-priority projects end to end on behalf of the founders, from customer pilots and field deployments to internal tooling and process automation.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Get hands-on with hardware – preparing and assembling sensor and compute kits, moving machines and equipment, and supporting installation, testing, and demos on-site.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build the analysis behind key decisions – unit economics, pricing, market sizing, and machine performance data – pulling and cleaning the data yourself.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prepare material for investors, grant programmes, and customers, and work across engineering, commercial, and operations teams to unblock execution.</p></li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications:</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field – a combination of the above is ideal.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Able to ship working software with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor – scripts, prototypes, and automations – with enough Python and SQL to review, debug, and trust what comes out.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Valid category B driving licence, and the willingness to drive to customer sites, transport equipment, and move machines and hardware.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Evidence of getting things done without supervision – a startup, a side project, a student venture, or a demanding internship.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Based in Berl
