<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a senior design leadership role at a fast-growing, Sequoia- and Index-backed AI procurement platform serving large industrial companies across Europe. The company is at Series A/B stage with ~150 employees and is rethinking how procurement works — combining human expertise with AI agents to make high-impact cost decisions legible, trustworthy, and actionable for industrial buyers.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">As <strong>Head of Product Design</strong>, you will define how humans and AI agents collaborate across the product, build and lead a team of ~4 product designers, and establish design as a true strategic partner alongside product and engineering. This role has direct impact on profitability for large industrial customers and shapes the future of agent-native enterprise UX.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Location:</strong> Munich, Germany (hybrid on-site). <strong>No visa sponsorship available</strong> — right to work in Germany is required.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Define the interaction paradigm for an agent-native product, where AI agents execute procurement workflows and buyers supervise, steer, and handle exceptions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Turn a screen-first product into an agent-driven experience — building the mental models, UI patterns, and frameworks that make complex decisions legible and trustworthy for non-analyst users.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Translate technical procurement concepts (e.g. should-costing, raw material indices, contract leakage) into accessible, actionable UX.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own and evolve the design system and component architecture to support agent-driven development and rapid iteration.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build, hire, and lead a team of ~4 product designers — setting standards for craft, speed, and strategic impact.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Establish design as a strategic partner in the product trio alongside product management and engineering.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive company-wide user understanding through UX research best practices and ongoing advocacy for real user problems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders (PM, Engineering, C-suite).</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">6+ years of product design experience, with at least 2+ years in design leadership and people management at high-growth technology companies.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deep experience designing data-heavy, workflow-driven products — able to make information density an asset rather than a liability.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven ability to build and maintain
