<h3><strong>Position Summary</strong></h3><p>To advance <a href="https://teachforall.org/our-purpose" rel="nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"></a><a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/teach-for-all">Teach For All</a>’s 25-year vision, we are seeking a Media and Editorial Coordinator to play a key supporting role in shaping and sustaining <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/teach-for-all">Teach For All</a>’s external voice. You will support media relations efforts through strong operational management and coordination, contribute to thought leadership content, manage day-to-day operational systems, and help ensure that the ideas and insights from our global network reach relevant audiences. This role combines hands-on operational excellence with a good understanding of media relations and editorial standards. </p><h3>About The Team</h3><p>The Media and Public Engagement team works to influence the global discussion in order to create an external environment conducive to the achievement of <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/teach-for-all">Teach For All</a>’s vision. We are a fast-paced team that builds a proactive narrative highlighting our core purpose, the impact of our global network, and the work of our network partners.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ol><li>Media Relations (30%):<ul><li>Support the Head of Media and Public Engagement in managing engagement with journalists, editors, and media platforms, and contribute to building strong media relationships over time</li><li>Conduct targeted media landscape analysis to identify relevant platforms and journalists for outreach and cultivation</li><li>Maintain and optimize media contact databases and manage incoming media queries</li><li>Perform daily media monitoring, track brand presence, and proactively identify engagement opportunities</li><li>Analyze media coverage to support the team in generating actionable insights</li></ul></li><li>Thought leadership and Public Engagement (25%):<ul><li>Support the development of op-eds, essays, and media commentary from key spokespeople – including research, drafting support, editing, and coordinating submissions</li><li>Edit and strengthen content from the network to help maintain consistent editorial standards</li><li>Coordinate active editorial cycles, including tracking submissions and supporting revisions across multiple pieces</li><li>Project manage and contribute to the editorial output and audience development of public engagement platforms, including written and video content series.</li><li>Support the process to identify and secure speaking engagements, in line with team priorities</li><li>Contribute to the drafting and coordination of press releases, press kits, and other communications materials</li></ul></li><li>Operations and Systems (45%):<ul><li>Manage the development and maintenance of a spokesperson database, coordinating preparation and support for spokespeople across media opportunities</li><li>Manage an
