To enable this high-performance every team member enjoys full autonomy over their location (we’re remote-first).</p></div><p>As a <strong>Senior Business Developer</strong> for the category Home & Garden you will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and closing high-impact partnerships with brands and professional sellers, shaping the assortment strategy and growth.</p><h3>WHO YOU ARE:</h3><ul><li>You bring 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Partnerships, ideally within marketplace, retail, or e-commerce environments working with brands in the Household Appliances or Garden space</li><li>You speak German and English fluently; an additional European language (e.g. Italian) is a strong plus</li><li>You have a proven track record of closing complex, enterprise-level deals, managing long sales cycles end-to-end</li><li>You are passionate about working with people and can communicate, influence, and persuade stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and C-level counterparts, backed by strong commercial acumen</li><li>You are resilient and persistent, learning from setbacks without losing momentum</li><li>You are a structured, analytical problem-solver who can quickly understand complex business and operational setups</li></ul><h3>NICE TO HAVE:</h3><ul><li>Existing network within the Home & Garden industry</li><li>Prior experience working with marketplace and/or retail business models</li></ul><p><strong>Location & eligibility: </strong>This role is open to candidates based in Europe (including UK) only with a valid right to work.</p><h3>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</h3><ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic sellers and brands within the Home & Garden category, building a strong and differentiated pipeline</li><li>Analyse market trends, demand signals, and assortment gaps to shape the category’s acquisition and growth strategy</li><li>Lead the full sales cycle independently — from first outreach and business case development to contract negotiation and deal closure</li><li>Act as a problem solver for prospective sellers, collaborating
