<p><b><i>What Business Analysis contributes to <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/cardinal-health">Cardinal Health</a></i></b><br><br>Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.<br><br>Business Analysis serves as a liaison between the organization's businesses and IT systems development teams to align business strategies and capability needs and to ensure IT systems enable their desired value. This job family identifies and analyzes business needs, defines requirements and objectives, and makes recommendations for solutions using new and existing technologies. This job family researches and documents relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices) and translates business requirements into application requirements.<br><br><b><i>Job Summary</i></b><br><br>The Consultant, Business Analysis partners with business leaders and project teams to identify business needs and deliver Information Technology solutions. The Consultant defines project scopes in order to efficiently deliver on the identified business cases and ensures that solution development, implementation and change management activities achieve desired business goals. Through business process improvements and activation of new capabilities, the Consultant enables business units to achieve their operational and commercial objectives.<br><br><b><i>Responsibilities</i></b></p><ul><li>Analyzes new capabilities and changing business needs to inform the delivery of Information Technology solutions. Investigates business operations, identifies causes behind the results achieved, and articulates the effects of those results on the business.</li><li>Partners with functional experts to ensure scope is clearly defined for projects and implementation initiatives. Continually evaluates projects’ achievement of associated business cases and prevents unnecessary investment.</li><li>Leads elicitation sessions with impacted stakeholders to develop and articulate process flows, requirements and rules, and prepare appropriate documentation.</li><li>Collaborates with subject matter experts to execute user acceptance testing and change management activities and to understand the results of these activities.</li><li>Provides timely and effective communication, including appropriate status updates, to all impacted stakeholders and project partners, conveying technical concepts and project progress simply and concisely.</li><li>Manages relationships with vendors as necessary for project execution and works with external parties to achieve system integration.</li><li>In partnership with project stakeholders, summarizes project results, insights and impacts and creates deliverables for presentation to senior
