<div class="description"><p>As an <strong>Account Executive at Apptopia</strong>, you’ll own the full sales cycle — from outbound prospecting through close — working with investment research teams, hedge funds, and corporates that rely on data to generate differentiated insight.</p><p>You’ll engage directly with sophisticated buyers evaluating datasets as part of their research workflows and help them understand how mobile intelligence can support investment decisions, competitive analysis, and strategic positioning.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and translating data into clear commercial value.</p><h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3><ul><li>Own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation through close across investment research and strategy-focused organizations.</li><li>Develop relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, and corporate research teams.</li><li>Run discovery conversations to understand how clients evaluate and incorporate datasets into their workflows.</li><li>Position Apptopia’s mobile intelligence as a signal within investment, market intelligence, and competitive research processes.</li><li>Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to client-specific use cases.</li><li>Manage multi-stakeholder deal cycles across research, data, and commercial teams.</li><li>Partner closely with BDRs, product, and leadership to refine messaging and strengthen pipeline development.</li><li>Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting in CRM.</li><li>Consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.</li></ul><h3><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h3><ul><li>2–3+ years of experience in a <strong>closing (Account Executive or similar) role</strong></li><li>Experience selling <strong>data, analytics, or research solutions</strong></li><li>Comfort working with <strong>investment research teams, hedge funds, asset managers, or strategy organizations</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders</li><li>Ability to translate complex datasets into clear business and investment value</li><li>Strong discovery and storytelling skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Comfort operating in a fast-moving, collaborative environment</li></ul><h3><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h3><ul><li>Experience working with alternative datasets or intelligence platforms</li><li>Background selling into hedge funds or institutional investors</li><li>Familiarity with how research teams evaluate new data sources</li><li>Experience collaborating closely with outbound and SDR/BDR teams</li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools</li></ul><h3><strong>About Apptopia</strong></h3><p>Apptopia is the leader in real-time competitive intelligence.
