We are looking for an experienced professional to take ownership of mechanical and structural design, provide technical leadership, and drive projects to successful completion. If you thrive in a dynamic, problem-solving environment, this role is for you!</p><h3>Your missions:</h3><p>🎯 Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring high-quality technical solutions that meet customer requirements.</p><p>🎯 Oversee the mechanical design process, including bespoke mechanical handling systems, lifting equipment and accessories, from concept through to manufacture.</p><p>🎯 Manage the development, review, and checking of technical documentation, including verification of design reports, detailed design drawings, technical files, calculations, and compliance documentation.</p><p>🎯 Provide technical guidance and risk assessment, identifying and mitigating challenges before they impact project timelines.</p><p>🎯 Collaborate with project managers, other lead engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.</p><p>🎯 Work with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and FEA tools.</p><p>🎯 Engage with the supply chain, liaising with vendors to specify and develop mechanical components.</p><p>🎯 Ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as Machinery Safety Regulations and LOLER.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><h3>Qualifications/Skills to be successful:</h3><p>πŸ’‘ BEng (2:1 or higher) in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).</p><p>πŸ’‘ Proven experience in mechanical engineering within a highly regulated sector.</p><p>πŸ’‘ Strong Knowledge of design for fabrication, welding and manufacturing tolerancing.
