<h3>Role: Financial Reporting Manager</h3><h3>Job Location: Full remote</h3><p>Timing: Evening shift which starts 6/7 pm IST to 2/3 am</p><p>Role type: Independent Contract with no end date (perpetual until either party gives notice to end the contract)</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><h3>1. Financial Reporting and Analysis</h3><p>o Manage the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</p><p>o Provide in-depth analysis and insights into financial results, including variance analysis and key performance metrics. Key Performance Info (KPIs).</p><p>2. Data Integrity, Management and SQL Analysis (Financial, Operational)</p><p>o Use SQL to extract, analyze, and interpret financial data</p><p>o Develop and maintain SQL queries to streamline reporting processes and enhance data accuracy.</p><p>o Work with IT and other departments to improve data accessibility and support data integrity.</p><p>o Projects including license management, feature pricing matrix, cost accounting mapping. e continue flow of revenue and cost matching.</p><p>o This includes understanding of billing and collection system (SQL, Riverrock), taxation (Vertex, Suretax, TaxJar), vendor data extraction and analysis (converting data into SQL, Pivot).</p><h3>3. Advanced Excel Analytics</h3><p>o Leverage advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, to perform detailed financial analysis.</p><p>o Build, maintain, and optimize financial models to support forecasting and budgeting.</p><p>o Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel Power Query, and other tools.</p><p>4. Business Partnering and Cross-functional Collaboration</p><p>o Provide support/work parallel with revenue assurance function to support data validations of billing close / review credits to customers.</p><p>o Serve as a liaison between finance and other departments to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.</p><h3>5. Process Improvement and Controls</h3><p>o Continuously improve financial reporting processes by implementing best practices and identifying automation opportunities.</p><p>o Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.</p><p>o Lead or assist in special projects as needed to support the finance department and business objectives.</p><h3>6. Special Projects from management</h3><p>o Review, audit or provide solutions on task assigned related to any issue or reporting</p><p>o Be creative enough to produce original reports and have the ability to develop reports / analysis from scratch.</p><h3>Qualification/Skills requirement:</h3><p>o Qualified Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)</p><p>o 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or similar roles (preferred industry: (Telecom, TechSecurity), others may apply if they fulfill other criteria.</p><p>o Advanced proficiency in SQL (Mandatory) and data management, with experience in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.</p><p>o Expert-level
