Your team will enhance platform core services and will design and develop DevOps tools for managing. 100% availability and three 9's performance and reliability data streaming platform.</p><p>As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class="lst">Contributing to the design and implementation of highly available, scalable, and performant solutions</li><li class="lst">Building integrating, supporting and improving data streaming services on Akamai Platform with focus on systems for collecting and analyzing performance metrics</li><li class="lst">Designing and developing DevOps tools to make the software delivery system run seamlessly</li><li class="lst">Developing processes and tools to monitor, analyze, maintain and improve streaming data pipelines usability and observability</li><li class="lst">Developing and implementing procedures for automating operational tasks, streamlining day-to-day work to achieve zero human engagement paradigm</li></ul><h3>Do what you love</h3><h3>To be successful in this role you will:</h3><ul><li class="lst">Have relevant experience and a Bachelor diploma in Computer Science or another related field or its equivalent.</li><li class="lst">Have experience (+5) with distributed systems, Linux networking, TCP/IP, SSH, SSL, and HTTP protocols</li><li class="lst">Have experience (+3) in DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet</li><li class="lst">Have experience (+3) with Observability, Performance Analytics, Security tools like Prometheus and DataDog</li><li class="lst">Have experience with big data platforms like Hadoop and Spark; design principles</li><li class="lst">Demonstrate skills in bash scripting, SQL and REST API design; able to troubleshoot complex production issues</li></ul><h3>Work in a way that works for you</h3><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
