When a feature goes live and runs smoothly, you see the direct impact of your work.</p><p style=";"></p><h3>About your new role</h3><ul><li><p>Lead the development of our latest frontend application while contributing across the full stack.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Design, implement and maintain robust, scalable microservices using Kotlin, TypeScript and related technologies.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Take end-to-end ownership of your services - from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Shape our technical direction through architecture decisions, technical design reviews and the long-term evolution of our platform.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Improve our engineering platform by advancing CI/CD pipelines, observability and Infrastructure as Code practices.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate closely with marketing and engineering teams across idealo to deliver reliable tracking and billing systems while continuously raising engineering quality through clean code, testing, pair programming, code reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing.</p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><br /><br /><h3 style=";"><strong>Skills &amp; Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Several years of professional experience in frontend development with TypeScript/JavaScript and backend development with Kotlin.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Solid experience with React, Next. js, Spring Boot and building RESTful APIs.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka and messaging patterns.
