<p>UFP Site Built (dba Endurable Building Products) is seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer to join our team, specializing in multifamily construction.</p><p>This role provides technical expertise and leadership in structural engineering, focusing on the design and installation of aluminum architectural products for multifamily buildings. As a critical member of both the design and product development teams, the candidate will bring strong experience in building materials, structural design, and process improvement.</p><p><b>Location: </b>Brooklyn Center, MN (Onsite) or Remote.</p><p><u><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></u></p><ul><li>Engineering & Design Leadership: Lead the design and review of aluminum railing, balcony, canopy, and other product offerings from Endurable.</li><li>Ensure all designs comply with building codes, company standards, and industry regulations.</li><li>Apply professional judgment for engineering seal applications and provide technical approval for designs.</li><li>Along with working with other outside engineering firms, EOR of building projects and internal design teams.</li><li>Product Development & Innovation: Contribute to the development of new products, design methods, and improvements to existing designs.</li><li>Emphasize enhancing product quality, increasing efficiency, and reducing costs through innovation in design and processes.</li></ul><h3>Quality Control & Compliance</h3><ul><li>Ensure that all designs meet applicable safety standards and building codes.</li><li>Oversee the creation and implementation of testing protocols for materials and truss assemblies, conduct material testing, and ensure compliance with industry standards.</li></ul><h3>Project Management & Process Improvements: </h3><ul><li>Lead initiatives targeting material</li><li>performance, quality improvements, and cost reduction. Coordinate with cross-</li><li>functional teams to ensure engineering designs are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with project objectives.</li></ul><h3>Technical Resource & Troubleshooting</h3><ul><li>Serve as an internal consultant, offering expertise on Endurable building products across a broad range of designs, repairs, and field installations.</li></ul><p><b>Cross-Department Collaboration & Customer Interaction:</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with production teams, customers, and field installation companies to ensure designs are implemented correctly and installations meet quality standards.</li></ul><h3>Reporting & Administrative Duties</h3><ul><li>Prepare and review technical reports, designs, and correspondence. Maintain up-to-date documentation regarding product designs, testing results, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.</li></ul><h3>Continuous Learning & Professional Development</h3><ul><li>Remain informed on industry trends, structural engineering practices, and building codes to maintain innovative, competitive, and compliant product de
