Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.<h3><b>Job Description</b></h3><p><u><b>Roles and Responsibilities</b></u></p><ul><li>Includes both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development. Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. SQEs have various levels of differentiation which are related to level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and ability to manage vendors.</li><li>2nd line manager with senior leaders and professionals as direct reports. Has ability to attract and retain talent. Often manages medium to large teams. Developing expertise within function. Growing reputation within the organization. Includes roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership. Influences policy and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization.</li><li>May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business solutions to leaders in functional area. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.</li></ul><p><u><b>Required Qualifications</b></u></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in quality, mechanical, electrical, industrial, operations or other equivalent discipline (a must for candidates in Hungary)</li><li>Extensive proven experience in Quality/Materials/Operations across plants or business units. </li><li>Evidence of knowledge of the Quality Sciences -APQP, Problem solving, sampling, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, PDCA. </li><li>Some previous leadership experience in management, supervision or project/program leadersh
