Our solutions are built and operated by an ambitious and experienced international team. </p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>mediafellows is looking for a <strong>Backend Team Lead </strong>to establish and lead a <strong>Development Hub in Colombia</strong>. If you have comprehensive knowledge of <strong>Ruby on Rails</strong>, are highly familiar with distributed service architectures, and have successfully led teams in the development of complex web applications in a professional capacity in the past, you’re the one we’re the one we’re seeking. </p><p>As a Backend Team Lead, you will oversee the development of solutions for our sophisticated SaaS platform <strong>MediaStore</strong>, an online B2B service for marketing and distribution of audiovisual content – covering content management, video screening, contracting, fulfillment, and delivery. Some of the largest studios, broadcasters, and distributors from around the world rely on our platform solution.</p><p>You’ll get to work with a complex, mature code base that comprises multiple services providing various REST APIs. Our architecture stack includes a wide array of technologies, including Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Clickhouse, Redis, Kubernetes, and more. We also explore alternative software development stacks to build and deliver high-scalable quality software, and we are keen to hear your suggestions and discuss your ideas.</p><p>This is a unique opportunity to be part of transforming the media industry from on-prem to cloud-based workflows.
