Who cares about redefining how everyone around us can get the best financial applications, not for an exclusive few.<br><br>If you're this person, we'd love to talk to you.</p><h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">We are looking for backend engineers to build the core systems behind BJAK's finance super app.<br><br>This role is for engineers who can build reliable APIs, workflows and financial product infrastructure that can scale across markets, partners and millions of users.</p><h3><strong>What You'll Own</strong></h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build backend services, APIs and workflows for the finance super app.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support products across insurance, payments, wallet, savings, investing, travel and financial services.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design reliable systems for user accounts, transactions, partner integrations, reconciliation, notifications and operations.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with product and mobile teams to ship customer-facing journeys quickly.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Integrate with banks, payment gateways, insurers, data providers and other partners.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Improve system reliability, observability, security and performance.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build systems that are practical, auditable and ready for regulated financial products.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">3+ years of backend engineering experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, system design and production debugging.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building scalable services and integrating third-party systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Good understanding of security, reliability, data quality and operational edge cases.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Able to make pract
