While you might not have heard of us (yet) over 36,000 accounting and audit professionals list Caseware as a skill on their LinkedIn profiles!</div><div>📍 Location: This is a fully remote position located in Colombia. <br><br>Contact<br><br><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/ma%C3%ADra-russo/" rel="nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Maira Russo </a>- Senior Talent Acquisition Partner</div><h3>What you'll be doing:</h3><ul><div>• Define and evolve the technical architecture for Caseware’s AI platform, following<br>architectural standards, contracts, and design principles that enable scalable,<br>secure, reusable, and trustworthy AI capabilities across multiple teams.<br>• Design, build, and operate AI systems powered by LLMs, retrieval pipelines, agentic<br>workflows, and AI-enabled services, including multi-agent systems, agent<br>execution runtimes, workflow orchestration, memory management, and human-inthe-loop AI capabilities.<br>• Design and implement evaluation, governance, auditability, and traceability<br>frameworks that ensure AI systems are measurable, explainable, compliant, and<br>continuously improving.<br>• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, frameworks, and cloud capabilities.<br>• Balance delivery speed, quality, maintainability, and long-term platform health<br>when making technical decisions.<br>• Drive reliability, observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices<br>across AI systems and platforms.<br>• Ensure systems are resilient, scalable, cost-effective, and operationally efficient in<br>production environments.<br>• Partner closely with Product, QA, Security, Domain SMEs, and Engineering teams to<br>deliver business value.<br>• Act as a trusted software engineer, helping teams succeed through collaboration,<br>influence, and shared ownership.</div></ul><h3>What you’ll bring:</h3><ul><div>• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated<br>impact beyond a single team<br>• 2+ years building and operating production AI systems.<br>• Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native, multi-tenant<br>platforms at scale.<br>• Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native, multi-tenant<br>platforms at scale.<br>• Experience implementing AI guardrails, governance controls, and safety<br>mechanisms.<br>• Strong understanding of AI system tradeoffs including latency, cost, accuracy,<br>reliability, and scalability.<br>• Experience building and operating production systems on AWS.<br>• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.<br>• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions across<br>teams.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills are i
