<p><a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/miratech">Miratech</a> is looking for an experienced Senior Amazon Connect Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations for Amazon Connect and AWS-based contact center solutions. The role involves building scalable APIs, designing DynamoDB data models, developing Python-based Lambda functions, and managing infrastructure using Terraform. The ideal candidate will possess strong AWS development expertise, hands-on Amazon Connect experience, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and Amazon Professional Services.</p><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and enterprise integrations.</li><li>Design and optimize DynamoDB schemas, indexes, and data access patterns for scalable applications.</li><li>Develop and maintain Python-based AWS Lambda functions for business logic and automation.</li><li>Modify, enhance, and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows and routing logic.</li><li>Collaborate with UI development teams to translate business requirements into backend services and APIs.</li><li>Work directly with Amazon Professional Services on Amazon Connect implementation and enhancement initiatives.</li><li>Design and support event-driven architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.</li><li>Support and optimize data flows across AWS services and integrated systems.</li><li>Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot application, integration, and infrastructure issues across AWS environments.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery.</li><li>Participate in production support activities and occasional after-hours deployments when required.</li></ul><ul><li>8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.</li><li>4+ years of experience with Amazon Connect, including contact flows, routing, queues, and integrations.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Python, including development of AWS Lambda functions.</li><li>Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.</li><li>Extensive experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend integrations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of DynamoDB schema design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization.</li><li>Experience designing and supporting cloud-native and event-driven architectures.</li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation practices.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering and business teams.</li><li>Experience working in Agile development environments.</li></ul><h3>Nice To Have</h3><ul><li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.</li><li>Experience converting AWS CDK or CloudFormation templates
