In this role, you'll support customer engagements, innovation initiatives, and solution development efforts across the Office of the CTO and GDIT’s COVE AIOps Digital Accelerator. If you're energized by shaping modern network architectures and solving complex technical challenges, this role offers high impact and high visibility.</p><h3><b>How You’ll Make an Impact</b></h3><ul><li>Architect and optimize enterprise‑grade networks across multi‑vendor environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, and more).<br>• Deliver technical briefings, solution demos, and customer‑facing presentations that translate complex architectures into mission value.<br>• Create authoritative architecture documents, diagrams, runbooks, and build guides for engineering and customer teams.<br>• Deploy and validate network solutions across lab and production environments, including copper and fiber physical infrastructure.<br>• Serve as a Principal on proposals (RFIs/RFPs), contributing technical volumes, solution approaches, and cost‑informed recommendations.<br>• Integrate network monitoring and observability platforms (SolarWinds, PRTG, Elastic, etc.) into hybrid environments.<br>• Develop firewall policies, segmentation strategies, and perimeter architectures aligned to Federal cybersecurity and Zero Trust frameworks.<br>• Provide deep troubleshooting expertise including packet analysis, protocol diagnostics, and IPv4/IPv6 network assessment.</li>
</ul><h3><b>What You’ll Need to Succeed</b></h3><h3><b>Required</b></h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of progressive technical and leadership experience.<br>• 8+ years in enterprise network engineering, design, implementation, and customer‑facing technical leadership.<br>• Strong communication, analytical, and time‑management skills.<br>• Ability to design, present, and lead complex network solution initiatives in fast‑paced environments.</li>
