Held</a>’s Complex Accounting &amp; Litigation team is seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Managing Director to support and expand our capabilities within the forensic accounting, litigation consulting and expert witness services. This is a senior role for a professional with deep experience in complex investigations and litigation.</p><p>As a Managing Director, you will help shape the strategic direction of the practice, lead high-impact engagements, mentor talent, and cultivate long-term client relationships across industries and geographies.</p><h3>Job Responsibilities</h3><h3>Strategic Leadership &amp; Team Development</h3><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and grow junior team members on client work and business development.</li><li>Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and client service.</li><li>Assist in internal knowledge sharing, training, and professional development initiatives.</li></ul><h3>Client Engagement &amp; Project Oversight</h3><ul><li>Able to oversee and execute engagements in a wide array of disciplines including complex, investigations involving regulatory inquiries, forensic accounting, litigation consulting and expert witness services.</li><li>Guide the development of client deliverables including reports, presentations, and data visualizations and testimony.</li><li>Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic insight.</li></ul><h3>Business Development &amp; Market Expansion</h3><ul><li>Expand your book of business and contribute to the growth of the Complex Accounting &amp; Litigation practice.</li><li>Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with law firms, regulators, financial institutions, and corporate clients.</li><li>Represent <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/j-s-held">J.S. Held</a> at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.</li></ul><ul><li>15+ years of experience in relevant experience ranging from auditing, CFO, regulatory or standard setting, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services roles.</li><li>Certified Public Accountant or equivalent. </li><li>Proven experience with a focus on executing on client delivery of high quality services and ability to work within and manage a team.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear, actionable insights.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.</li><li>Significant experience in the financial services and insurance industries.</li><li>Prior audit experience.</li><li>Additional relevant certifications including CFE, CFF,
