In this role, you’ll work on mission-critical projects that make a real impact — from designing and developing new features to deploying them into production.</p> <p>You’ll collaborate closely with a talented team in a fast-paced, agile environment where your ideas and skills will shape solutions used at a federal level.</p> <hr> <h3>What We’re Looking For<ul> <li><p><b>2+ years of software development experience</b> (more if you don’t have a degree).</p></li> <li><p><b>Bachelor’s degree</b> (in progress or completed).</p></li> <li><p><b>Active IRS MBI clearance</b> (Public Trust).</p></li> <li><p>Strong experience building backend applications with <b>Java</b>, including knowledge of <b>design patterns</b> and best practices.</p></li> <li><p>Solid experience with the <b>Spring ecosystem</b> — especially <b>Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA</b>.</p></li> <li><p>Front-end skills with <b>ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript</b>, and the ability to turn designs into responsive UI using <b>HTML/CSS</b>.</p></li> <li><p>Hands-on experience building and documenting <b>APIs</b> (Swagger knowledge is a plus).</p></li> <li><p>Exposure to server-side tech (Java, Node.js, Python) and cloud platforms like <b>AWS</b>, plus container tools like <b>Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift</b>.</p></li> <li><p>Experience with <b>DevOps tools</b> like Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.</p></li> <li><p>Familiarity with <b>Agile methodologies</b> and working in agile teams.</p></li> <li><p>Bonus: Experience with <b>ICCE</b> and <b>eServices</b>.</p></li> </ul> <hr> </h3> <h3>What You’ll Be Doing<ul> <li><p>Design, build, and test secure, high-quality software solutions.</p></li> <li><p>Write clean, efficient, and testable code that meets project requirements.</p></li> <li><p>Collaborate with product managers and other developers to brainstorm and deliver new features.</p></li> <li><p>Participate in the full development lifecycle — from design to deployment.</p></li> <li><p>Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing software.</p></li> <li><p>Help deploy applications into production environments.</p></li> <li><p>Join daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies to keep projects moving forward.</p></li> </ul> <hr> </h3> <h3>What You Bring Beyond Tech Skills<ul> <li><p>Strong communication skills — you can talk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with ease.</p></li> <li><p>Great time-management skills and the ability to stay on top of multiple tasks.</p></li> <li><p>A team-player mindset and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.</p></
