We’re looking for an <strong>Outside Sales Account Manager</strong> to join our team and lead growth within a defined territory.</div><div>In this role, you’ll combine your technical expertise in <strong>Fluid Power</strong> with strategic sales acumen to develop new accounts, grow existing business, and deliver innovative solutions to customers.</div><div><strong>This position can be home based in or around McCallen, Laredo, Corpus Christi and/or Brownsville. </strong></div><h3>Essential Functions </h3><ul><div><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Drive Sales Growth:</strong> Meet and exceed annual sales and gross profit goals.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Win New Business:</strong> Prospect, follow up, and convert new OEM, Capital Project, and MRO customers.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Develop Target Accounts:</strong> Identify and focus on key strategic accounts for long-term growth.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Understand Customer Needs:</strong> Conduct detailed needs assessments and develop tailored solutions based on technical and business insights.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Deliver Winning Proposals:</strong> Create compelling proposals, presentations, and quotations that align with customer requirements.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Negotiate for Success:</strong> Close deals that maximize value for both the customer and the company.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Ensure Customer Satisfaction:</strong> Provide responsive, on-time, and error-free service while proactively solving problems.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Collaborate Internally:</strong> Leverage internal technical and service resources to deliver the best solutions.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Utilize CRM Tools:</strong> Track metrics, manage opportunities, and report weekly progress.</li><li style="list-style-type: revert;"><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong> Participate in weekly accountability meetings and ongoing training through <strong><a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/sunsource">SunSource</a> University</strong></li></div></ul><h3>Experience, Education, & Skills </h3><ul><h3>Experience, Education and Skills</h3><div data-qa="posting-requirements"><li style="list-style-type: revert;">Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering OR 2-year
