We’re hiring a freelance Business Development Representative (approx. 4 hours/day) to drive outbound efforts for <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/jumpseat">JumpSeat</a> itself and, where relevant, support outreach for select client engagements. This is a freelance engagement to start, with the possibility of converting to a full-time role if it’s a strong mutual fit and business conditions allow.</p><h3>What you’ll do</h3><ul><li>Prospect and qualify new business opportunities</li><li>Run cold calling and outbound email campaigns</li><li>Manage structured follow-up sequences</li><li>Segment and refine target audiences / ideal client profiles</li><li>Use AI tools to speed up prospecting, personalization, and outreach workflows</li><li>Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach with campaigns</li></ul><h3>What we’re looking for</h3><ul><li>Proven B2B business development or outbound sales experience</li><li>Full professional fluency in written and spoken English (client base is US-based)</li><li>Hands-on experience with sales tools such as Sales Navigator, Clay, ZoomInfo, and Outreach</li><li>Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to research prospects, draft outreach, and streamline day-to-day workflow</li><li>Strong ability to learn new tools and processes quickly</li><li>Results-oriented, with a track record of hitting outreach or pipeline targets</li><li>Reliable, organized, and comfortable owning a workflow independently</li></ul><h3>Logistics</h3><ul><li>Freelance / independent contractor basis, approx. 4 hours/day</li><li>Potential path to full-time based on performance and business needs</li><li>Schedule overlapping with US business hours</li><li>Fully remote</li></ul><h3>Please share your desired hourly rate.</h3></div><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
