<p>As a Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d), you will be an important part of our software team. You will design, optimize, and expand our test automation system to fully automate the release process and software quality of the ground station and our drone software.</p><p>In a highly skilled team, you will play a key role in pushing the boundaries of modern software solutions for our high-tech drones.</p><p>You will work closely with stakeholders from our software teams as well as adjacent departments (such as hardware development) to extend and improve the software testing pipeline.</p><p>By ensuring high code quality and streamlined deployment pipelines, you will support Quantum-Systems in its mission to become the leader for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV). <br /><br /></p><h4><strong>What is your Day to Day Mission:</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Develop a test strategy to validate our entire software stack for vertical take-off and landing aircraft (VTOL).</p></li><li><p>Create new end-to-end integration tests.</p></li><li><p>Review, challenge, and optimize existing test cases.</p></li><li><p>Proactively expand test coverage in a structured way to identify and push system limits.</p></li><li><p>Develop an automated test framework that enables developers to continuously extend the test suite.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate and develop AI-powered testing solutions, including AI agent-based systems, to automate test implementation, improve test generation, and increase the efficiency of our verification processes.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with development teams to further build out the test automation pipeline.</p></li></ul><br /><br /><h4><strong><br /></strong></h4><h4><strong>What you bring to the team:</strong><br /></h4><ul><li><p>A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification (e.g., ISTQB certification)</p></li><li><p>3+ years of experience in software testing or working in similar role</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in developing, optimizing and maintaining automated test cases using Python or a comparable language</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with Robot test automation framework</p></li><li><p>Experience with CI/CD tools (ideally GitHub) and Docker</p></li><li><p>Practical experience in building hardware/software-in-the-loop setups, from concept to implementation</p></li><li><p>Interest or experience in AI-assisted software development, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI agent frameworks applied to software testing and automation is a strong plus.</p></li><li><p>Experience with DO-178C is advantageous</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal English communication skills</p></li><li><p>Proactive, organized and a team player mindset</p></li><li><p>Ability to balance multiple assignments</p></li></ul><p><br /></p><h4><strong>Why Quantum-Systems:</strong></h4><ul><li><p>We believe in the power of combined efforts: straightforward tech expertise paired with
