<p>We are currently hiring for staffed Vibration Analysts (ISO Cat II-III certified) position for Bangalore Division. The Vibration Analysts will work directly with their customers in the performance of their primary job responsibilities. As an ISO Certified Category II/III, this position is expected to have a knowledge of rotating equipment; characteristics and causes of machinery vibration; be capable of monitoring/reporting; be able to perform basic fault diagnosis and condition evaluation.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide Advanced Vibration Analysis remotely by working with our internal diagnostic software</li><li>Timely reporting of vibration analysis findings and recommendations to customer's</li><li>Provide troubleshooting support <ul><li>Solve equipment problems by evaluating vibration spectrum and time waveform.</li><li>Seek the best technical solution by interfacing with other technical resources</li></ul></li><li>Provide support in maintaining the vibration databases</li><li>Work with plant personnel to support their development of equipment maintenance strategies related to vibration analysis monitoring</li><li>Provide call out coverage (remote) whenever required</li><li>Assist with failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and help determine solutions to prevent recurrence</li><li>Provide oversight and mentoring to less experienced Vibration Technicians</li></ul><h3>Qualifications Required</h3><p>Minimum of a High School Diploma / Degree equivalent</p><p>4 or more years vibration discipline experience in solving machine problems using vibration analysis</p><p>ISO Category II / III Certification from an Accredited Certification Provider (Vibration Institute, Mobius, Technical Associates, etc.)</p><p>Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working around rotating equipment</p><p>Able to work overtime as needed, including weekends / holidays</p><h3>Ability to travel as required</h3><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
