They encourage the personal development and professional growth of their team of medical billing experts with comprehensive training and career development programs.</p><h3>Job Details:</h3><ul><li>Medical Billing Specialist - AR</li><li>Work from home until further notice</li><li>Monday to Friday | 9 PM to 6 AM</li></ul><h3>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</h3><ul><li>Prompt response to requests for information, both internally and externally</li><li>Timely and accurately enter charges from superbills and demographic reports.</li><li>Expert ability to add specific data such as modifiers and payer-specific information, including authorization criteria, CPT and ICD-9 and ICD-10</li><li>Responsible for the processing and discrepancy reconciliation and closing of charge batches across all systems</li><li>Ability to successfully track and follow up on information requests to and from the practice.</li><li>Achieve goals set forth by the supervisor regarding error-free work, transactions, processes, and compliance requirements</li><li>Payment posting</li><li>Patient phone calls</li><li>Processing of claims</li><li>Handle patient phone calls professionally.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:</h3><ul><li>At least 3-5 years of experience working in a medical provider or a billing firm environment in the US Healthcare Industry</li><li>Experience with AR</li><li>Aptitude to learn quickly</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment</li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and well with others</li></ul></div><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
