We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform.</p><h3>Working with our Customers</h3><p>As a Major Account Executive, you will be developing the assigned territory and acquiring new customers. You will be maximizing new bookings, logos via a combination of assigned target list &amp; business development.</p><p>As a Major Account Executive New Accounts, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class="lst">Building &amp; executing territory plans. Developing ecosystem of partners, consultants and influencers</li><li class="lst">Articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers</li><li class="lst">Developing a strategic sales plan to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution</li><li class="lst">Working within integrated partnerships with sales engineers to ensure consultative engagement with prospects and customers</li><li class="lst">Managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies</li></ul><h3>Do what you love</h3><h3>To be successful in this role you will:</h3><ul><li class="lst">Have 10 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree.</li><li class="lst">Have experience in selling cloud infrastructure and compute solutions for North India region</li><li class="lst">Demonstrate successful sales experience in managed services and solutions sales for new acquisitions(hunting)</li><li class="lst">Possess understanding of the basic concepts of Security, Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure</li><li class="lst">Show high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower</li></ul><h3>About us</h3><p>At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.<br>Whether you're streaming live events, scrolling social media, watching your favorite series, or managing your savings, we're the engine behind the scenes.
