As a member of the Legal team, you will help <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/teladoc-health">Teladoc Health</a> Canada build and deliver innovative health care solutions that enhance patient experience, improve population health, lower costs, improve provider well-being, and advance health equity. This position reports to the Head of Legal.</p><h3>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><p>Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements, including, without limitation, commercial agreements, vendor contracts and privacy/data protection agreements</p></li><li><p>Provide practical legal counsel to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to, privacy/data protection, health care, health regulatory, product regulatory, corporate/commercial, vendor due diligence, procurement, marketing, intellectual property, information technology/artificial intelligence and human resources</p></li><li><p>Supply legal responses to client questionnaires and requests for proposals/information</p></li><li><p>Support different legal, privacy, compliance, corporate governance, ethics, government affairs and enterprise risk management programs or initiatives</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with other subject matter experts as a member of a cross-functional team</p></li></ul><h3>Supervisory Responsibilities</h3><h3>No</h3><h3>Qualifications Expected for Position</h3><ul><li><p>Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school</p></li><li><p>Membership in good standing with a Canadian law society/professional regulator</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 2-5 years of post-call experience</p></li><li><h3>Bilingualism in English and French</h3></li><li><p>Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Self-starter who is eager to learn with sound judgment, professionalism and discretion</p></li><li><p>Ability to adapt to changing busi
