<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">A fast-growing, seed-stage enterprise AI platform startup based in Berlin is looking for a <strong>Full-Stack Software Engineer</strong> to join their small, high-impact engineering team. Founded in 2023 and backed by prominent European and international investors, the company builds a comprehensive, security-first platform that helps organizations adopt and integrate generative AI across their entire operations — including chat, workflows, custom agents, and deep integrations with existing tooling.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a <strong>full-time, on-site role in Berlin, Germany</strong>. You'll have substantial ownership over features from conception through production, and direct influence on product and architecture decisions at an early stage.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and implement robust backend systems and APIs powering an enterprise-grade AI platform.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build end-to-end solutions spanning backend (Node.js), database layers, and frontend integration.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models for performance and scalability.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Implement API endpoints and integrate with third-party services and AI/ML providers.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with the team on technical architecture decisions and system design.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain and optimize the codebase for performance, reliability, and maintainability.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participate in rotating <strong>Support Engineer</strong> shifts, where engineers across the team periodically focus on supporting customers and the customer support team.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">3+ years of full-stack web development experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong hands-on experience with <strong>Node.js</strong>, <strong>React / Next.js</strong>, and <strong>TypeScript</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in <strong>PostgreSQL</strong> and SQL — data modeling, querying, and query optimization.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency with <strong>Tailwind CSS</strong> for frontend styling.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience owning features end-to-end, from conception to production deployment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building AI-powered features or integrating AI/ML services into production applications.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Solid understanding of API design and integration with third-party services.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong CS fundamentals and an ability to contribute to techn
