If you're ready to grow, lead and make a difference, come join our team and help shape the future of convenience.</i></p><h3>Summary: </h3><p>Your day as a Construction Manager will be a mix of communication, collaboration, and problem-solving as you oversee all aspects of multiple construction projects from inception to completion. You’ll start by reviewing project updates and progress reports, ensuring Key Performance Indicators like safety, quality, cost, and schedule are on track. A large part of your day will be spent engaging with stakeholders—including internal Sr Leaders and Operations, contractors, engineers, architects, vendors, and regulatory bodies—providing clear and concise updates while facilitating effective decision-making.</p><h3>Primary Accountabilities:</h3><ul><li>All aspects of construction projects, from project inception to final completion.</li><li>Provide timely, concise, and transparent communications to operations and all stakeholders.</li><li>Direct general contractors, engineers, architects, and vendors to complete construction projects while satisfying contract requirements.</li><li>Cooperate with 7-Eleven’s Environmental consultant to ensure all federal, state, and local laws are being followed.</li><li>Assess project performance through Key Performance Indicators for safety, quality, cost, and schedule.</li><li>Ability to create project plans, including but not limited to a project charter, schedule, responsibility matrix, risk management plan, communication management plan, and stakeholder register.</li><li>Facilitate site survey, due diligence of conditions, and prepare scope of work. Financial accountability inclusive of estimates, budget development, change orders, invoice review, and project closeout. </li><li>Spearhead the design review ensuring accuracy against defined scope and specifications for approvals.</li><li>Lead permitting and assist in negotiations with appropriate regulatory bodies and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) as required.</li><li>Direct the bid management process and make recommendations regarding contractor selection.</li><li>Provides field oversight and direction during the execution phase from preconstruction through issue of final required inspections and occupancy.</li><li>Develop site-specific, accurate equipment take-offs and orders for each project.</li><li>Accountable for regular reporting including percent of completion, estimated date of turnover to operations, actual costs, and cost forecasts.</li><li>Ensure that vendors deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correc
