<p>The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities within the assigned territory, leveraging their knowledge and experience in valve automation sales and maintaining a strong commitment to high‑quality customer service.</p><p>Reporting to the Sector Manager & Country Leader, this role focuses on delivering value, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue and profitability.</p><p>This position also provides the opportunity to collaborate with our global Water & Power teams and work closely with the project sales organization to ensure a coordinated approach, high customer satisfaction, and successful execution of sales projects. The Area Sales Manager will develop and maintain relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage all sales activities related to Water & Power opportunities in the assigned territory.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners.</li><li>Effectively oversee local channel partners (Manufacturer’s Representatives and Distributors) to maximize performance.</li><li>Monitor and pursue project sales, service opportunities, and aftermarket sales with existing customers.</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for customer needs while coordinating with the Factory Service Group when required.</li><li>Maintain accurate reporting and CRM updates to ensure visibility into sales activities across the organization.</li><li>Stay informed about competitive positioning and market developments.</li><li>Collaborate with the Country Manager and other Area Sales Managers to develop sales strategies aligned with company goals.</li><li>Provide regular business forecasts for all products and services.</li><li>Prepare monthly sales reports with the Regional Sales Manager to support accurate forecasting.</li></ul><h3>Experience Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Proven experience managing sales of products and services for capital projects, resellers, and end users.</li><li>Experience managing a channel partner network.</li><li>Engineering degree or similar technical qualification.</li><li>Strong commitment to delivering high‑quality service to internal and external customers.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, tact, and diplomatic skills when dealing with staff, customers, and suppliers.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li></ul><h3>A Successful Candidate:</h3><ul><li>Experience selling engineered industrial automation products or process equipment.</li><li>Strong time‑management and planning skills.</li><li>High level of self‑motivation, independence, and accountability.</li><li>Knowledge of the water and wastewater market.</li></ul><p><a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/rotork">Rotork</a> is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow or liquids, gases and powders
