As an<strong> AR Specialist for Skilled Nursing Facilities</strong>, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and timely reimbursement processes, directly contributing to the financial health of our clients. You’ll gain valuable experience working with a variety of payer systems and enjoy the flexibility to develop your skills in a supportive, remote environment. </p><p><strong>This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.</strong></p><h3><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></h3><ul><li>Follow-up with payers to ensure timely resolution of all outstanding claims via phone or websites</li><li>Meets and maintains daily productivity/quality standards established in departmental policies </li><li>Utilizes the workflow system, client host system, and other available tools to collect payments and resolve accounts</li><li>Adheres to the policies and procedures established for the client/team</li><li>Knowledge of timely filing deadlines for each designated payer</li><li>Performs research regarding payer-specific billing guidelines as needed</li><li>Ability to proactively analyze, identify, and trend claims issues to reduce denials </li><li>Communicate with management about any issues and trends identified</li><li>Initiate appeals when necessary</li><li>Understanding of under or over-payments and credit balance processes</li><li>Use, protect, and disclose patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards</li></ul><h3><strong>To succeed in this role you will need:</strong><br></h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 years in AR or healthcare billing, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care</li><li>Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel</li><li>Excellent verbal and written English communication skills</li></ul><h3><strong>Service Fee:</strong><br></h3><p>Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.</p><h3><strong>Hours:</strong></h3><p>US Eastern Standard Time (EST) –<strong> 9am to 6pm</strong></p><h3><strong>Why <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/limitlessli">Limitlessli</a>?</strong></h3><p>We embrace the flexibility and convenience of a
