You'll join a small, high-calibre AI &amp; Automation team and work directly with founders and product leads to build the infrastructure that transforms how tax advisory firms operate — turning repetitive, manual processes into fast, reliable, AI-powered execution.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">The platform sits at the intersection of regulated financial services and modern software engineering, giving you real-world exposure to complex domain problems where accuracy and compliance truly matter. This is an on-site role based in <strong>Berlin, Germany</strong>.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>Please note: visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</em></p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and build automation and infrastructure tools that eliminate repetitive work across accounting and advisory workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Translate complex accounting, tax, and advisory processes into scalable, AI-powered software solutions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Integrate systems and data across multiple partner firms to create a coherent, unified platform experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate closely with founders, domain advisors, and product teams to ship high-impact features quickly.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to shaping the technical architecture — ensuring the stack is built for speed, reliability, and long-term scale.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Must-haves:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>3+ years of experience</strong> applying AI in real-world, production contexts — ideally in regulated industries (finance, legal, tax, healthcare, or similar).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong proficiency in <strong>TypeScript and Python</strong> — you're comfortable shipping clean, pragmatic code in both.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrated experience building AI-powered automation that meaningfully accelerates real work — not just prototypes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Solid computer science fundamentals and an instinct for clean, maintainable engineering.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Genuine interest in how businesses operate — accounting, finance, and process optimisation excite rather than intimidate you.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">German language proficiency (professional or native level) — particularly valuable given the domain and client base.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with German tax advisory workflows, DAT
