<p class="isSelectedEnd">As a <strong>Development Engineer</strong>, you will play a key role within our <strong>Production Engineering Team</strong>, bringing your own ideas to life by developing new test systems and optimizing production processes. Together with our world-class team, currently consisting of 10 members, you will play a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p>You will work closely with stakeholders across <strong>Production and Development</strong> to take our manufacturing capabilities to the next level and enable our rapid growth. By optimizing production processes and developing new testing solutions, you will support <strong>Quantum Systems</strong> in its mission to establish unmanned aerial systems (sUAVs) as the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions.</p><p style="text-align:justify;min-height: 1.7em;"></p><h4><strong>What is your Day to Day Mission:</strong></h4><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><ul><li><p>Take ownership of the <strong>complete development cycle of test systems</strong> for drone components or complete systems — from initial concept and mechanical/electronic design through to implementation.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain <strong>automated test software in Python</strong> for production test systems.</p></li><li><p>Develop and optimize <strong>test strategies</strong> to ensure production quality and reliability.</p></li><li><p>Perform <strong>root-cause analyses</strong> of production issues.</p></li><li><p>Act as the <strong>interface between our development departments and production</strong>.</p></li></ul> <br> <h4><strong><br></strong></h4><h4><strong>What you bring to the team:</strong><br></h4><ul><li><p>You have a completed degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a comparable field.</p></li><li><p>You have experience in <strong>developing test systems, designing test equipment, or general manufacturing/production environments</strong>.</p></li><li><p>You have experience with <strong>Python/C# and GUI frameworks such as Tk or Qt</strong> for frontend or tool development.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with <strong>hardware communication interfaces</strong> such as CAN, Ethernet, UART, I²C, or SPI is a plus.</p></li><li><p>You have basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics.</p></li><li><p>You are comfortable working with <strong>Git and modern collaborative development processes</strong>.</p></li><li><p>You are passionate about technology — whether it's drones, 3D printing, robotics, or simply tinkering and building things yoursel<strong>f</strong>.</p></li><li><p>You are self-motivated, take ownership, and independently drive your projects and areas of responsibility forward.</p></li><li><p>Communicating in <strong>both English and German</strong> comes naturally to you.</p></li></ul><p><br></p><h4><strong>Why Quantum-Systems:</
